Crumb (film) - Crumb is a 1994 documentary film about the noted underground comic artist R. Crumb and his family. Harvey Pekar - Harvey Pekar (born October 8, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio) is a Jewish American underground comic book writer. His friendship with Robert Crumb led to the creation of the autobiographical comic book series American Splendor, later adapted as a movie. Terry Zwigoff - Terry Zwigoff (born 1948) is an American filmmaker. He became well-known for two popular small budget films, both arising out of the world of underground or alternative comics: the documentary Crumb (1994), about underground comics figure Robert Crumb, and the feature Ghost World (2001), adapted from a story in Dan Clowes' comic Eightball. Fritz the Cat (film) - Fritz the Cat is a 1972 Animated film written and directed by Ralph Bakshi. Based on the comic books by Robert Crumb, the film was the first animated feature film to receive an X rating in the United States.
